The Zoom link is invalid. How can I connect to today's workshop?

An issue sometimes arises with the Zoom link:

—> #success is added at the end of the URL, rendering it invalid.

We have seen this happen for a user using Safari on an iPhone; it does not happen for the same user when connecting via Mac laptop using Safari, DuckDuckGo, and other browsers.

Please try the link in the reminder email (sent the day ahead of the workshop) or your registration confirmation at your earliest convenience in order to give yourself time to troubleshoot and join the meeting on time.

If necessary, check your spam/junk folder or search for Yoga Teachers Association in your inbox to find this information.

You may need to:

        • Delete #success at the end of the URL.
        • Use a different device (phone, tablet, labtop, desktop)
        • Try a different browser (Safari,Chrome, Firefox, Bing...)

We are not be able to help troubleshoot this as it needs to be fixed on the user's end. We have contacted Zoom but don't have much hope of hearing back from them.

We sincerely regret this inconvenience. Please know should you not be able to connect for any reason, the recording will be sent as soon as possible following the end of the workshop, usually within 24 hours.

Thank you for your patience and understanding with tech issues such as this that are out of our control.

How do I log in to the site to register for a workshop or view my profile?

If you are a member or already receive our emails, simply log in from the membership page with the email address where you receive YTA eblasts and newsletters. If you've never logged in to the site before or have forgotten your password, click on "Forgot password" to set or reset it.

I no longer want to receive YTA's weekly emails. How can I opt out?

Before you opt out, please be aware of the following:

  • There are three types of emails sent by YTA via Wild Apricot:
    • Workflow emails: These are automatic system emails such as renewal notices and registration confirmations. If you maintain a YTA membership or register for YTA events, you cannot opt out of workflow emails.
    • Automatic event announcements: These are occasional system emails announcing an upcoming event. We send these perhaps once per month. The advantage of these emails is that when you click on the link to register, you are automatically logged into your YTA profile. You can opt out of these emails with no consequences, by using the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or by changing your preference in your profile.
    • Mass emails from administrators: These are YTA's weekly emails, sharing news about our upcoming events, member events, board members, member benefits, and other news we think may be of interest to the local yoga community. Email blasts are also our only way to communicate with workshop and event registrants. If you choose to opt out of email blasts, YTA will not be held responsible if you do not receive important information about a workshop—such as a venue change, logistics, handouts, recording links, follow-up surveys, etc.
  • If you wish to be removed completely from YTA's database, please contact us and we will archive your profile. You will need to create a new profile should you decide to receive YTA email blasts or register for YTA events in the future.

We hope you will decide to stay on our list so you can keep up to date on our offerings, but if you want to change your settings, you can follow these steps:

    • From the home page, click on the membership tab, then click on "Login" at the top right corner, above the photo.
    • After logging in, if necessary, navigate back to the membership page and click on your name above the photo.
    • When your profile appears, click on "Email subscriptions" and then click on the "Edit profile" button under "My Profile."
    • Uncheck the "Subscribed" box next to the options you wish to change.
